Whisperwood Rings Refund and Return Policy

At Whisperwood Rings, we are dedicated to crafting unique and high-quality wooden rings that you'll cherish. We understand that sometimes a purchase may not be exactly what you expected. Please read our refund and return policy carefully.

Our Commitment to Quality

Each of our wooden rings is handcrafted with care and precision. Due to the natural variations in wood grain and the artisanal nature of our products, slight differences in appearance are to be expected and contribute to the uniqueness of each ring. These are not considered defects.

1. Returns and Exchanges

  • Eligibility Window: You may return or exchange your wooden ring within 30 days of the original product delivery date.

  • Condition of Returned Items: To be eligible for a return or exchange, your ring must be in its original, unworn condition, free from any scratches, damage, or alterations. sIt must be returned with all original packaging, including any boxes, pouches, or certificates of authenticity.

  • Non-Returnable Items:

    • Custom or personalized rings (e.g., engravings, custom wood combinations) are final sales and cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a manufacturing defect or an error on our part.

    • Rings that show signs of wear, damage, or alteration by the customer.

    • Gift cards are non-refundable.

2. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

To initiate a return or exchange, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at whisperwoodrings@gmail.com or call us at 850-778-7733 within the 30-day window. Please include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return/exchange, and the reason for the return/exchange.

  2. Return Authorization: We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed instructions on how to return your item. Please do not send items back without an RMA number, as they may not be processed.

  3. Packaging: Securely package the item(s) in their original packaging to prevent damage during transit. Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package.

  4. Shipping: You are responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning items that are not being returned due to manufacturing defect. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.

3. Refunds

  • Processing Time: Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5 business days (funds typically applied between 5-10 business days, depending on your financial institution).

  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping charges are non-refundable on returns not associated to manufacturer defect. If you receive a refund, the cost of original shipping will be deducted from your refund.

  • Restocking Fee (Optional - Consider if applicable): A 10% restocking fee may apply to returns. This helps cover the cost of inspection, repackaging, and administrative processing. We will inform you if a restocking fee applies to your return.

4. Exchanges

  • Process: If you are exchanging an item, once your returned item is received and approved, we will ship out your new item. If there's a difference in price, we will either refund the difference or send you an invoice for the additional amount.

  • Shipping for Exchanges: You will be responsible for the shipping cost of the new item being sent to you, unless the exchange is due to an error on our part.

5. Damaged or Defective Items

  • Reporting Damage: If your ring arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately (within 3 days of delivery) with your order number and clear photos of the damage/defect.

  • Resolution: We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly, which may include replacing the item or issuing a full refund, including original shipping costs. We may provide a pre-paid return label for damaged or defective items.

6. Warranty (Optional - Consider if applicable)

  • Limited Warranty: We offer a limited warranty against manufacturing defects or finish defects (i.e. chipping, clouding, delamination, etc…) for a period of 30 days from the date of product delivery. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, normal wear and tear, or alterations. Please refer to our "Care Instructions" for proper handling of your wooden ring.

7. Care Instructions

To ensure the longevity of your wooden ring, please refer to our detailed care instructions included with your purchase and available on our website. Improper care can damage the ring and may void your return eligibility.
